Question: Discuss about the Leadership Skill. Answer: Introduction: This report is based on the strategy on talent management (Armstrong and Taylor 2014). Talent management is the skill that needs human capital with an intention to expand the organizational opportunity and planning (Christina et al. 2015). It is a scientific strategy, which improves the valuation of business and it helps the companies to achieve their goal. This report is consists of certain questions relating to the MMAP profile and the ratings given in that profile. Talent management skill is a part of this assignment and related to the leadership skill and both make a man competent enough to face all the problems tactically. Sometimes, the management of a company needs to face some uncertain obstacles and to deal with that problem, training related to project management is must. As per some top industrialist, a project manager should keep in mind certain common management problems that the managers can face during their job terms (Kerzner 2013). Discussion: Leadership style: leadership style is a kind of implementing plans that assists to conceptualize the solutions and helps to gain some job-based knowledge (John 2017). Conceptual knowledge is an important factor to apply the ability of innovation, interpersonal tactics and skill (Hiebert 2015). Leadership style is not limited to the corporate sector. It is important to every sphere of our life. there are many kinds of leadership style, namely authoritarian leadership, paternalistic leadership, democratic leadership, laissez-faire. According to my MMAP profile, it is clearly observed that the rate of innovative power and conscientiousness are quite high. Through this report, a detail communication about my job profile has been discussed that are much more enchanting and optimistic. In any company or any working sphere the ability of innovatory skill is quite admirable. There should be a friendly working environment in any job, the leader should have the quality of helping others, and a sense of sociability is required here. These are the moral competencies, an ability to look forward, an inspiring and motivational spirit, intelligence to combat the challenges. A leader should have an interest towards the open mind like ability to resolve the project management challenges and should be straightforward. This report reflects all these abilities and creates an optimistic arena that narrates the skill of an ideal leader. As per MMAP profile, the rate of helpfulness and an interest towards the social activities are q uite enchanting. Leadership is a skill that encompasses the individuals ability and vital to achieve success by leading a team. An ability to take challenge and dynamic confidence towards the difficult task is one of the key points towards good leadership skill. This report depicts the positive and strong analyzing skill that leads to an achievement oriented as well as self-directed leadership mentality that can be useful to execute the aim of an organization. Project management challenges: Project challenges are certain undesired obstacles that the managers have to face in course of their job (Hwang and Ng 2013). Challenges can be of many types. The most common project related challenges can be divided as unidentified goals, anonymous projection skill, inappropriate risk management and poor communication skill. These problems are able enough to create an obstacle towards achieving the ultimate motto of an organization. The report has narrated certain abilities that can be helpful to restrain those challenges. The areas of strengths are good analytical sense and logical reasoning. The optimistic mentality and good sense of humor are an effective measure to resist the project related challenges. A striking and focused mind is an able mind to take those challenges (Nodding 2015). One of the most common problems in the work place is confliction between the team members. According to my MMAP profile and feedback, my capacity to avoid all the conflicts is positive enough. A leader who knows how to deal with this problem by way of non-confrontation is the ideal leader. Another strength point regarding the challenge resistance is the assertive and non-aggressive mind. The definition of project challenge denotes unexpected obstacles and such obstacles can be defended by those who have the ability to tackle the risk in well calculated manner. Knowledge is the skill that helps a person to tackle all the problems as well as situations (Egan 2013). This report has framed that one who can calculate the risk, has the capacity to seek out any potential risk regarding the project challenge. An assessment regarding the job-based mastery is necessary for one to become skilled in managing projects. Another problematic situation that is about to arise in work place is that the stress developed from the job criteria. Stress is the immediate effect of the project-based job. If knowledge regarding this problem can grow up, it will become easier to overcome the neurotic, adversarial and negative aspects of job. Unique assets to manage the new project: project based challenges is one of the key parts in case of talent management strategy. The person, who becomes able to deal with the obstacles, is the one who has certain talents to make the rough way into a cake path. According to my profile, there are some lacks regarding hostility and competitiveness, which are need to be controlled. As per the MMAP, the rate of percentage regarding the control is mentioned as 30 %, which means that I have to aware of this to retain the leadership ability. My MMAP profile has denote a number of suggestion that improvise the skillful ability to tackle this all. A leader should motivate others to end a job not in any particular way but in any way. What really matters is the willingness. One should be stay informed. An optimistic motivation is needed in the work place. Training regarding the conflict management and determination can be proved as beneficial to sharpen the skills on communication as well as to deal with conflict management (Northouse 2015). One of the most serious problems regarding the project-based challenge is undefined difficulties. It is important to think about the problem first. An active anticipation towards the problem is expected in any job criteria. The self-report portion of the assessment has been defined my ability as a person who has a lean on self-directed and credence. However, as per the MMAP rating, the rate of dependency was 62%. It is good to depend on the workers, but in certain circumstances, the workers want to see the ability to manage the situation tactfully. Quality improvement can also be a good asset for anyone who wants to increase his or her excellence in work place. An inventory attitude towards the immediate changes is very important (Arnocky, Milfont and Nicol 2014). Lead a certain people is a serious matter as the development of an organization is depends on this. It needs a certain type of ability as this made a person different from ot hers. Leadership is a post of high esteem that exposes the view that one has an excellence abject on social skill. It can be quite helpful to promote the teamwork. One must be careful towards their voice tone in a meeting. These soft skills are necessary to be checked up. Sometimes, feedback and training to the workers are become necessary to get a healthy and well-communicated team. It is important for a team leader to find out what is the most useful feedback that values the most. This is an era of competition, where it is necessary to prove ones capacity to make an ultimate difference from the others. A leader is an inherent quality that is engraved in any one. One must discover this ability and try to sharp these abilities. Conclusion: Therefore, from the discussion, it can be concludes that a leadership skill can be improved in a planned manner. Leadership ability is inherent skill (Day et al. 2014). The main theme of this report is to describe my leadership style based on the MMAP profile and the feedback rate given. This report has too discussed the development and analysis of the aspect of talent management strategy, which is a scientific method. It helps to improve the valuation of business and it helps the companies to achieve their goal. Leadership styles are the plans that are important to chalk out with a purpose to achieve the ultimate and desired goal. It can be inherited from my profile that many important features regarding the leadership skill has been designed in the positive side of my rating. The MMAP chart has portrayed myself as a self-confident and eligible personality. There are certain kinds of potential threats that are very common in any project-based job. A clear conception regarding the po tentiality has been described here that are helpful to resist the threats.
